A Sunny Day

Wow, it's been a long time since I wrote here- will try to get into the habit of doing it more often!
Since I've written, I've gotten the basement re-organized, gotten yard sale stuff ready, and taken eBay pictures for 2 big black bags of clothing. Now I need to edit the pictures and get the clothing into my eBay store! I'm looking forward to spending a bit of time (& money) at Value Village on Monday--big 50% off sale!

It's a sunny spring day here today and I only wish the temperature reflected that! It's been so chilly here that it hardly feels like spring. Going to have to find a new place for the kids to run off their steam (McDonald's food gets real old after a while)!

Profitable week

It was a good week for the most part....I got about 50 items listed to my store, got my web domain up and running, and I feel better emotionally this week.
My web domain name redirection is now working and it is . Was a source of frustration to me to be paying for a service and not get the help I needed to get it operational. I found out why the transfer wasn't going through, I have to wait 60 days.....

My next job is to finish the basement reorganization and change my listings from single items to outfits and lots.

Change, it must be worth it.

I am having a difficult time getting used to this blogging thing....I tend to be quite a private person, so writing my feelings where everyone can see them doesn't come easy.

I am on week 2 of being without my anti depressant medications and it had been a roller coaster of emotion. The dizziness seems to be gradually disappearing, but still have ice cold hands and feet.

Seems to me that the slow economy has affected everyone- my successful eBay listings have dwindled to just about nothing. This is where an eBay store seems to make more sense as the fees are lower, and are guaranteed to get what you want for each item(but you have to be patient!).
It is still necessary to have some auction listings, so you have a way to bring traffic to your store. All for now......

A new way to cope

There's a first time for everything and this is my first blog post!
I've decided to do this as a way to get my thoughts & feelings down and to help me cope with my daily struggles/joys with depression, raising kids and owning my own eBay store.
I've never been one to be good with words, so I hope this is coming out in a way that makes sense.
I love being a work at home mom, but it doesn't come with out its challenges.
